Bullseye Glass Co.

Bullseye Glass Co. has been hand-rolling glass in Portland, Oregon since 1974. Bullseye’s commitment to the art of fused glass is evident in its factory, educational resource centers, fine arts fabrication studio, and gallery/museum exhibitions.

The objective: Develop a Bullseye logomark that can serve the unique needs of every Bullseye brand—from factory and retail to fabrication and gallery. In addition, it was important to stakeholders that the icon honor the historical significance of the “bullseye” and its relationship to glasswork. In response, the icon evolved into a “reflected rainbow” that references the original design of concentric circles but now, also conveys the message of reflective and transmitted light, and its effect on the experience of glass artworks.
